Jenessa Ellestad, a Senior in Music Ed at Oregon State (and a graduate of my string program!) has graciously consented to intern with me this term, so she will teach my classes when I am out of town during the next few months. On Friday the 28th, we will join the Old Time Fiddlers at Guthrie Park for their weekly jam session, and I will coach you on the spot, so practice fiddling every day while I'm gone, to get the most out of it.
In February or March (as soon as she can come) I plan to host Jeanine Orme, a world champion fiddler who lives in Beaverton, as a guest artist for a fiddlers workshop, too, so look forward to that event, most likely on a Saturday!
